Beth McCarthy

U.K. singer and songwriter Beth McCarthy mixes personal lyrics with atmospheric electronics and textured pop/rock arrangements that reflect influences like Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding. She released her more singer/songwriter-oriented debut EP, Northern Light, as a teenager in 2013 but later went viral with the jealousy-themed “She Gets the Flowers” in 2021. Hailing from York, England, McCarthy started performing in stage musicals at the age of seven, joined her first band at 11, and began playing guitar and writing songs by 13.
