Hels Pattison plus support: Nadedja & Daysaver

Hels Pattison is a Newcastle based alt-country artist who cut her teeth on the open mic scene across North Tyneside and Newcastle. She is bringing her country/indie fusion to The Grove to mark the release of her debut EP “Just What I Do” – on the same day.

Through the EP, Hels weaves a cyclical narrative of love found and lost – capturing far reaching influences, from Phoebe Bridgers to Mary Chapin Carpenter. Throughout, Hels’ personable and honest songwriting is the stand out feature of the release, which carries into her live performances.

Her latest single ‘On the Horizon’ was praised by Shakk – BBC introducing as “powerful, dramatic and honestly magnificent”.

Having recently sold out the Newcastle venue ‘The Lost Wanderer’ and played local festivals such as ‘Pilgrimage to the Islands’ and ‘CoastFest’, this headline home show is not one to be missed.

Support:

Daysaver: “Daysaver are an Indie Pop/Rock band playing in the local area since 2022. Dreamy guitar melodies and catchy hooks will guarantee an ear worm by the end of the set!”

Nadedja: “UK-based but Brazilian-born, Nadedja settled in North East England in 2017 to embark on her music career as a solo artist. Nadedja’s soulful alternative pop sound has been described as “classy, dynamic and impressive”, with her debut album set for release in 2025. Supported by the Ivors Academy, PRS Foundation, Help Musicians and Generator, Nadedja was the first artist to headline Sage Gateshead’s ‘From The Glasshouse’ concert series, and her music has been played on BBC 6 Music and ITV2’s Love Island. She’s performed in festivals throughout the UK, including Latitude, Dot 2 Dot, Hardwick and Lindisfarne.
