LITTLE COMETS – Independent Venue Week Special

The Grove is proud to present as part of the venue’s first Independent Venue Week… Little Comets!

The local heros will be playing live with a full band as well as perform a number of special acoustic & acapella renditions of the bands classics and lesser-known anthems.

Little Comets are undoubtedly one of the UK’s most independent of independent bands – doing literally everything by themselves. The music is honest and authentic, eschewing trends and ignoring the zeitgeist.The band are fiercely proud of their ultra-DIY ethic fostered by the hue drenched hills of their home town, Newcastle upon Tyne in the north east of England Consisting of brothers Robert and Michael Coles, bassist Matt Hall and additional musicians Nathan Greene and Matt Saxon, Little Comets have garnered a reputation for writing songs with hook-laden melodies, intricate instrumentation and thought-provoking lyrics that often tackle a darker subject matter. Their music has been supported by a steadily-growing loyal fanbase, cemented since 2010 with consistently sold-out headline tours plus shows and festival appearances across the UK, Europe and the USA. Little Comets exist simply because they love making music.
