Featuring…

IMOGEN – 9:30PM

Imogen is an artist from Newcastle now based in SE London. With a voice and songs full of pathos; organic instrumentation, unconventional arrangements and an outstanding ear for melodies characterise her sound, lending comparison from Nick Cave to Bat For Lashes to Feist. Having sold out multiple headline shows in the last year and a half as well as being selected as one of the 3 UK artists on the KeychangeEU 22 programme, harnessing a much talked-about debut at 2022’s Reeperbahn festival, and having started her own successful live night ‘Imogen & Friends’, Imogen is well poised to assume form as one of the UK’s most spellbinding live artists.

SØMNUS – 8:00PM

Sømnus (previously Benjamin Fitzgerald) debuted as a contemporary classical pianist and composer rising to local acclaim through his genre-bending and unique take on classical music. He now performs under the moniker ‘Sømnus’, pushing his sound even further and delving into the connection between classical, ambient and electronic.

Performing alongside his ensemble, Sømnus utilises a mixture of transcendent strings, loops and beats, ethereal sound spaces and intricate polyrhythmic piano lines in order to create works that are truly captivating.

For fans of Nils Frahm, Olafur Arnalds, Kiasmos & Bonobo.

GEORGIA MAY – 7:00PM

Georgia May is a Neo-Soul vocalist, born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne with ‘Nigeordian’ (Nigerian/Geordie) roots. Her sound is defined by soothing timbres exposing contrasting emotions of lust and heartache with a poetic lyrical narrative. She’s influenced by Hip-Hop, RnB and Afrobeats. Tracks from Georgia May’s debut album ‘Mood Daze’ have been aired on BBC Introducing, 1Xtra, Reprezent radio and on Flex FM’s Live Lounge.

TAANG – 6:00PM

Taang is a 5-piece indie and electronic inspired dance band, the junction between the Indie Dancefloor of the late 00s and the modern love children of Radiohead.

MEMPHIS GERALD – 5:00PM

Anywhere there’s an ache is comfortable territory for Memphis Gerald’s deft flatpicking and wry burr. Born and raised in Scotland, adrift in genre and sensibility, Memphis weaves traditional Celtic guitar styles (picked up from lessons by UK folk legend Chris Newman) into a love of country, roots, and even punk.

RIVKALA – 4:00PM

Rivkala is an emerging Newcastle-based neo-soul artist, songwriter, singer and pianist. Raised in Manchester on a diet of jazz, funk, disco, psych rock and soul, her writing is flavoured with their influence, and characterised by catchy melodic hooks and socially poignant lyrics.
