The Castillo Nuevo Trio

“Groove at the Grove” is a night of rhythm and groove! 

The headliner for this evening will be the “Castillo Nuevo Trio”. Formed by trombone player Jason Holcomb, Castillo Nuevo Trio performs Afro-Cuban music, salsa, bossa nova, Latin, and jazz. Always an audience favourite, this fusion of trombone, keyboard, and percussion will definitely bring some groove to your evening.

Opening the night will be Conor Emery with his new ensemble “Conor Emery & His ‘Bones”, showcasing some of Newcastle’s finest trombone players, accompanied by a jazzy rhythm section.

This night will be sure to get you up and dancing!
